Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Firewall Management: Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco firewalls including policies, NAT, segmentation, routing, UTM, upgrades, migrations, and HA. 

• SD-WAN Operations: Deploy and optimize SD-WAN environments (overlays/underlays), troubleshoot routing (BGP/OSPF), tunnel issues, dual-WAN failover, SLA routing, and performance using QoS and link-health monitoring. 

• Cloud Network Security: Implement and audit AWS/GCP security controls (NSGs, firewall policies, VPC routing, peering, WAF) and resolve multi-region connectivity issues. 

• WAF Management: Perform onboarding, rule tuning, exception handling, and false-positive analysis. 

• Proxy & Zscaler: Manage Zscaler ZIA configurations, authentication methods, routing policies, and resolve complex proxy issues. 

• VPN & Secure Access: Configure and troubleshoot complex IPSec/SSL-VPN tunnels and analyze application flows for security rule creation. 

• Security Architecture Support: Assist Leads during network design, segmentation planning, and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and client requirements. 

• Documentation: Prepare HLD/LLD, change documentation, and maintain Visio diagrams for firewalls, SD-WAN, and cloud networks. 

Skills & Experience :  

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet/Palo Alto/Cisco firewalls. 

• Strong SD-WAN troubleshooting (overlay tunnels, routing protocols, SLA policies). 

• Knowledge of AWS/GCP network security concepts and tools. 

• Experience with VPN, Zscaler, WAF, and enterprise routing/security. 

• Good understanding of security standards and audit processes. 

• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
